Whitney Jordan is a buyer turned global fashion strategy executive dedicated to advancing Black culture and driving diversity, equity, and inclusion within the global fashion industry.
As a diversity-focused fashion market expert, she specializes in designing and executing merchandising projects that connect global brands with diverse customer bases.
Whitney collaborates with senior leadership and C-level executives to craft tailored brand strategies. Her strong connection to contemporary Black culture and close ties to the Black community, artists, and fashion designers empower global brands to forge meaningful relationships with their audiences.
With over 12 years in the fashion industry, including buying roles at Macy’s and J.Crew (as a buyer for their popular third-party brands and collaborations), her work is guided by a deep understanding of the fashion industry and a dedication to creating inclusive environments.
In 2020, Whitney founded J.Crew’s first diversity employee resource group, Unity Crew.
As a merchandising consultant, her clients include Fortune 500 companies, fashion brands, and world-renowned artists.
Whitney holds a BA from Northwestern University and an MBA with distinction from NYU Stern School of Business.
She splits her time between New York and London.
